The ACPCC continues to work towards eliminating cervical cancer as a public health problem, in alignment with the World Health Organization’s goal. We work towards this achievement in collaboration with our Australian and International partners.
We are committed to supporting the success of HPV vaccination and cervical screening programs, to liberate women and people with a cervix around the world from the burden of cervical cancer.
Funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council, C4 brings together Australia’s expert leaders in cervical cancer control in both HPV vaccination and cervical screening. C4 is made up of researchers from Cancer Council NSW, Kirby Institute at UNSW Sydney, the University of Melbourne, and ACPCC.
Previous work of C4 investigators was instrumental in Australia’s major innovations in public health and contributed to the successful delivery of HPV vaccination in girls and boys, along with the implementation of an HPV-based cervical screening program. Notably, C4 also runs Australia’s largest clinical trial, Compass, which is providing world-first evidence on the interaction between HPV vaccination and screening.
ROSE Foundation is a Malaysian non-profit dedicated to eliminating cervical cancer through Program ROSE (Removing Obstacles to cervical ScrEening), with a strong focus on reaching underprivileged and under-screened communities.
EPICC, funded by the Australian Government and the Minderoo Foundation, supports cervical cancer elimination across the Indo-Pacific. Partnering with local and international organisations, EPICC promotes HPV vaccination, screening, and treatment.
