Our laboratory, VCS Pathology, is a not-for-profit pathology service specialising in cervical screening and gynaecological health. We offer the following pathology tests: 

  • Cervical Screening
    • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) (clinician-collected and self-collected)
    • Liquid-based cytology
  • Sexual Health
    • Chlamydia trachomatis
    • Neisseria gonorrhoea
    • Trichomonas vaginalis
  • Histopathology
  • Respiratory tests
    • COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2)
    • Respiratory (viral): Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, Rhinovirus, Human Metapneumovirus, parainfluenzavirus, adenovirus,
    • Respiratory (bacterial): Bordetella pertussis, Bordetella parapertussis, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and Chlamydia pneumoniae
