Our laboratory, VCS Pathology, is a not-for-profit pathology service specialising in cervical screening and gynaecological health. We offer the following pathology tests:
- Cervical Screening
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV) (clinician-collected and self-collected)
- Liquid-based cytology
- Sexual Health
- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Neisseria gonorrhoea
- Trichomonas vaginalis
- Histopathology
- Respiratory tests
- COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2)
- Respiratory (viral): Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, Rhinovirus, Human Metapneumovirus, parainfluenzavirus, adenovirus,
- Respiratory (bacterial): Bordetella pertussis, Bordetella parapertussis, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and Chlamydia pneumoniae
