ACPCC is experienced at providing education to broad audiences of healthcare practitioners: webinars, eLearning and face-to-face.
National Cervical Screening Program eLearning modules
In partnership with the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, the ACPCC have updated and improved the National Cervical Screening Program eLearning modules in line with upcoming changes to guidelines.
These eLearning modules are free and CPD accredited with the RACGP, APNA and ACRRM.
National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) Bundle
Clinical Education Course
This series of five interactive eLearning modules cover everything you need to know to effectively support your patients to make informed screening decisions and contribute to the elimination of cervical cancer in Australia. Healthcare providers can complete as many of the modules as they choose.
CPD Accreditation
RACGP & ACRRM CPD Approved Activities:
- Cervical cancer causes, prevention and elimination: 1 hour Educational Activities, 0.5 hours Reviewing Performance
- The National Cervical Screening Program: 1 hour Educational Activities, 0.5 hours Reviewing Performance
- Communicating the importance of cervical screening: 1 hour Educational Activities, 0.5 hours Reviewing Performance
- Screening in practice: 1 hour Educational Activities, 0.5 hours Reviewing Performance
- Cervical screening follow-up: 1.5 hour Educational Activities, 1 hour Reviewing Performance
APNA endorsed activity:
- This activity has been endorsed by APNA according to approved quality standards criteria
- Upon successful completion of these activities eligible participants may claim a total of up to 8.5 CPD hours.
E-Learning Courses
ACPCC offer online courses for Healthcare Practitioners, aimed particularly at GPs and nurses. These are free and delivered through the GPEx online learning platform. Courses can completed in your own time and at your own pace.

Clinical Education Course
Aimed to equip Healthcare Practitioners across Australia with the knowledge and skills to be able to offer the option of HPV self-collection to eligible patients and increase cervical screening participation rates.

VCS Pathology Cervical Screening Audit
Clinical Education Course
This program is available to clinicians across Australia who refer Cervical Screening Tests and co-tests to the VCS Pathology laboratory, to encourage meaningful change in cervical screening practice and engagement.
CPD Accreditation
- RACGP CPD Approved Activity: 15 hours Measuring Outcome, 2 hours Educational Activities, 6 hours Reviewing Performance
