canSCREEN®

canSCREEN® is expanding globally, enhancing cervical cancer prevention efforts in Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, and beyond, with upcoming initiatives in Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, and India.

canSCREEN® now

canSCREEN® is an award-winning purpose-built registry software solution specifically designed for population health programs. The ACPCC Digital Health team actively supports Malaysia’s Program ROSE in their use of the canSCREEN® platform. In New Zealand, canSCREEN® has been customized for the Te Ara Waiora Study to ensure proper follow-up and measurement of outcomes. In Papua New Guinea, as of 30 June 2024, over 25,000 women have been screened and their data entered into canSCREEN®. Similarly, in Vanuatu, over 10,000 women have been screened and their data entered into the platform by the same date, ensuring follow-up at appropriate intervals. Other countries where canSCREEN® has been implemented include Yap and Kenya.

canSCREEN® recent expansion

We have made significant strides in the global expansion of canSCREEN®, furthering our commitment to improving cervical cancer prevention worldwide.
New instances of canSCREEN® have been successfully established in the Cook Islands and several key regions of Papua New Guinea, including the provinces of Jiwaka, Southern Highlands, and the National Capital District. Additionally, we have extended our reach into Fiji, broadening the scope of our impact in the Pacific region.

Looking ahead

As we look ahead, preparations are actively underway to introduce canSCREEN® into Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, and the Solomon Islands. These initiatives are part of our strategic collaboration with Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer (EPICC) partners, funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The next financial year is set to be a pivotal period, with additional expansions planned and the introduction of canSCREEN® into India in support of the SHE-CAN study.
