Safiah Hassan is the Lead Project Officer at ACPCC, where she has been educating and encouraging healthcare providers to offer self-collection to all eligible patients, focusing on diverse and underserved communities. Safiah will be playing a key role in assisting with the monitoring and evaluation process of EPICC.
With a background in international public health, Safiah has supported the CDC on strengthening the interconnections with laboratory and point-of-care testing education/training professionals to support large-scale emergency responses, including COVID-19 and Monkeypox. She’s also worked on public health projects in East London and supported women’s rights initiatives in Morocco. Skilled in data analysis and health equity, Safiah is dedicated to improving global health and outcomes through education, training, and community outreach.
