Leah Hobbs joined the Board as a Director in September 2025. Leah brings over two decades of experience in oral health, health policy, and consumer advocacy to her role on the Board as Consumer Representative Board Director. A registered Oral Health Therapist and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Leah has held diverse leadership roles across clinical practice, health service management, and digital health transformation. Her work spans public and private sectors, with a strong focus on improving health outcomes through patient-centred care, equity, and system-level change.

Leah is a passionate advocate for consumer voices in healthcare governance. She has contributed to national advisory groups, digital health initiatives, and workforce reform projects, always championing the perspectives of patients, families, and communities. Her strategic insight, combined with lived experience and a collaborative approach, ensures that consumer representation is both meaningful and impactful at the board level.
