Dr Paulus Ripa is the Lead for EPIC PNG program in Papua New Guinea which will lead the EPIC program in rolling out elimination of cervical cancer services in PNG.
Until recently he was the Director of Clinical Services in the Western Highlands Provincial Health Authority in PNG where he led the establishment of the Elimination of Cervical Cancer programme in WHP which involved the establishment of the successful HPV screening programme since May 2022 and subsequently the recent introduction of the HPV vaccine programme in collaboration with the Kirby Institute UNSW/PNGIMR and the C4 consortium in Australia with funding from Minderoo Foundation/Cepheid Corp and other industry donors.
He is a Paediatrician with over 35 years of clinical practice.
