Andyta Nalaresi Hartono is a general practitioner and Assistant Manager for Cancer Network and Philanthropy at Dharmais National Cancer Center, Indonesia. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne, with a focus on epidemiology, evaluation and implementation science. Her work focuses on translating evidence into effective and sustainable approaches to cancer prevention, screening and early detection, particularly within real-world health systems.
Andyta has been involved in strengthening cervical cancer screening in Indonesia through a collaboration with MD Anderson Cancer Center to implement HPV self-collection and follow-up across diverse urban and rural settings, alongside capacity building for primary healthcare providers. Her broader work spans breast cancer screening and cancer patient navigation, with a particular interest in implementation and health-system strengthening. She has further developed her expertise through the IARC Summer School in Cancer Epidemiology and a UICC Technical Fellowship at IARC’s Early Detection, Prevention and Infections Branch.
