A/Prof Natalie Strobel is the Associate Dean (Research) at Kurongkurl Katitjin, Edith Cowan University. She is a health services researcher and statistical epidemiologist. Her research focus is to improve evidence-based best practice within health services focusing on primary prevention and early detection, particularly with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander infants, children, adolescents and their families. Having worked within government and non-government organisations across policy, practice and research projects, Natalie’s work has a strong focus on ensuring projects delivered are needs based and inform policy and practice.
Natalie’s current work focuses on improving HPV vaccination uptake through flexible, alternative immunisation models and youth-driven social media strategies that give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adolescents the information and access they need to take control of their health.
