The Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer is pleased to announce the successful completion of renovations to our Central Laboratory at Faraday Street. Final works wrapped up in late August 2025, marking the end of a transformative project that began in July.
Throughout the renovation period, our team demonstrated exceptional adaptability and professionalism, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery despite temporary disruptions. The upgraded laboratory now features enhanced infrastructure and optimised workflows, supporting our commitment to innovation and excellence in cervical cancer prevention.
Upgrades included the installation of a new GrossPath workstation with adjustable height, designed to improve ergonomics and efficiency in specimen processing. We still have a few final items on the way: a fumehood and a small oven for drying slides.
These improvements will strengthen our diagnostic capabilities and reinforce our role as a leader in public health. We extend our sincere thanks to all of our team for their patience and support during this important upgrade.
