Today marks a truly historic milestone for the ACPCC and our partners at the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Cervical Cancer Control (C4), as we bring you ECC2025 on the inaugural World Cervical Cancer Elimination Day.
For sixty years, the ACPCC has been at the forefront of cervical cancer prevention, working alongside dedicated partners, clinicians, researchers, and advocates. We are proud to have played a part in this journey, and to see the community come together today with a shared vision: a world free from cervical cancer.
Earlier this week, members of our team and special guests gathered at Government House in Melbourne to celebrate our diamond jubilee sixtieth anniversary. This special occasion was a chance to reflect on the decades of dedication, partnership, and progress that have brought us to this point. We were honoured to be recognised for our leadership and innovation in cervical cancer prevention, and to celebrate with those who have been part of our story.

At ECC2025 we are connecting with colleagues and leaders from across the globe, sharing knowledge, and building momentum for the next chapter in cervical cancer elimination. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey.
Here’s to the next sixty years, and to a future where cervical cancer is a disease of the past.
