Lucy Boyd

Lucy Boyd is a Research Fellow in the Evaluation and Implementation Science Unit at the Centre for Health Policy, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. She is a health services researcher with a background in behavioural science and health management. Her research focuses on evaluation and implementation of novel interventions to improve prevention and screening of cancer, predominantly centred on consumer experience and equity. Lucy currently coordinates the THRIVE-25 project (Transforming Health with HPV Vaccine and Cervical Screening at 25), which aims to develop and evaluate a digital tool to support young people’s decision-making about cervical cancer prevention to optimise equitable uptake of vaccination and screening. She is also co-leading a program of work to evaluate access issues to cervical screening and expand cervical cancer prevention in community pharmacy.
