Dr. Michael Caruana

Dr. Michael Caruana has over ten years’ experience designing and implementing modelling projects across different research fields and is currently an Associate Professor at the Sydney School of Public Health at the University of Sydney.  His research interests include the development of mathematical models that effectively simulate and describe complex health systems, efficient model calibration methods, stochastic analysis and rough path theory. He received his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Malta. He is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the School of Public Health, University of Sydney.
