Program ROSE Winners!

It was an exciting night for the Program ROSE team in Malaysia, at the presentation of the UNIVANTS Healthcare Excellence Awards last week.

Program ROSE (Removing Obstacles to Cervical Screening) is a collaboration between the ACPCC and University of Malaya, with a focus on primary HPV cervical screening. It incorporates self-sampling and digital technology, ensuring that women who are screened are linked to care. Program ROSE is an evidence-based, women-centred approach which offers women the choice of a self-swab to enable high-precision HPV testing, followed by prompt availability of results and navigation of follow-up via mobile phone.

Our Executive Director, Prof Marion Saville AM (accompanied by ACPCC Board Director, Ms Fiona Kelly) travelled to Kuala Lumpur to attend the presentation with the ROSE team on the 18th August. Program ROSE was awarded the UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence Awards Trophy.

This well-deserved recognition acknowledges the work of an outstanding team, who are making a profound impact on the health of Malaysian women.
