Abstract Submissions due by 5th July

We invite you to submit an abstract for the upcoming Eliminating Cervical Cancer Conference (ECC2024) on 27-29 November at the Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne. The theme of this year’s conference is: Achieving equity in Australia and the Indo-Pacific region. This is a great opportunity to present and discuss your findings with others working in the field and contribute towards the elimination of cervical cancer.
The abstract deadline is Friday 5th July 2024. Selected submissions from Australia will deliver their presentations live at the conference in Melbourne. Selected international submissions will have the option to present live in person or via pre-recorded delivery. We invite abstracts about cervical cancer elimination in any setting in the region in the following categories:

  • Pillar 1 – HPV vaccination
  • Pillar 2 – Screening and pre-cancer treatment
  • Pillar 3 – Cervical Cancer Treatment

Guidelines for Abstract Submissions

Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through this webpage. Please note that the Conference Office cannot process abstracts submitted via email, fax, or post.
Each abstract should not exceed 300 words. The abstract title should not exceed 30 words. Abstract submissions must adhere to the following structure:

  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

Submission Requirements

  • It is strongly recommended to submit original or updated research.
  • The submitting/corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are informed about the content of the abstract before its submission to the Secretariat.
  • All notifications regarding abstract status, including submission, acceptance, and scheduling, will be sent to the presenting author. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to inform the other co-authors about the abstract’s status.
  • The Committee will strive to schedule and allocate abstracts based on authors’ preferences but reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the presentation format.
  • It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure that all co-authors are acquainted with the content of the abstract before it is submitted to the Conference Office.
  • All notifications regarding abstract status, including submission, acceptance, and scheduling, will be sent to the presenting author. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to inform the other co-authors about the abstract’s status.
  • While the Committee will make every effort to accommodate authors’ preferences when scheduling and allocating abstracts, it reserves the right to determine the final form of presentation.
  • The submitting author acknowledges that the content of the abstract cannot be altered or amended after final submission, and it will be published exactly as it was submitted.
