Professor Woo Yin Ling is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at University of Malaya and a consultant gynaecological oncologist in University Malaya Medical Centre.  She completed her specialist and subspecialty training in gynaecological oncology and postdoctoral research degree in the UK and was conferred her PhD by Cambridge University. Yin Ling received many awards for her professional excellence including the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Gold Medal and the Cancer Research UK Gordon Hamilton Fairley Fellowship. As a clinician scientist, she describes her work as ‘Malaysian centric’, whether it be on an individual patient or policy level. Prof. Woo is an international key opinion leader in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. She is currently the Malaysian country representative for the Asia-Oceania Research Organisation in Genital Infection and Neoplasia (AOGIN), member of the Asia Pacific Economic Consortium (APEC) and Commonwealth taskforce and sits in the educational committee at the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS). Finally, having conceptualized and executed Program ROSE, she is now one of the founding trustees to ROSE Foundation.
