Professor Rebecca Guy is a Public Health Epidemiologist at the Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales, UNSW. She has expertise in implementation and evaluation of public health interventions related to HIV, sexually transmissible infections (including HPV), COVID-19 and other infectious diseases . Her research focuses on reducing the impact of these infections among vulnerable populations, by increasing the uptake of vaccinations, diagnostic tests (self-tests, rapid tests & point-of-care tests) and treatments (including pre-exposure prophylaxis), co-designed with community and other stakeholders. Her research also focuses on using diagnostics to improve antibiotic stewardship.
