Deborah is a Professor of Practice at The Daffodil Centre, a joint venture between The University of Sydney and Cancer Council NSW, and co-lead of the Cervical Cancer and HPV stream. She has worked in sexual and reproductive health as a clinician, researcher, educator and advocate for over 20 years including in the role as Medical Director of Family Planning Australia. Deborah’s focus is on translation of research outputs into clinical practice and policy to support equitable access to cervical cancer prevention innovations and services in Australia and internationally, including in the Western Pacific region. She is the Deputy Chair of the Australian National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) Clinical Advisory Group and Chair of the NCSP Quality Framework Working Group.
