Professor Ashrafunnessa, Chairman, Department of Gynaecological Oncology, graduated from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh, received training from home and abroad, obtained Membership and Fellowship from RCOG from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. Dr Ashrafunnessa obtained PhD from University of Dhaka, in 2004. She is ‘Focal point’ of “Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Programme” of Government of Bangladesh (GOB) since 2004 and helping to develop screening and coloposcopy clinics. She is Project Director of ““Electronic Data Tracking with Population based Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Programme (2018-2021)”. She is author in more than 50 papers (International Publications-25). She Received ‘Figo award in recognition of women obstetricians/gynaecologists’ during 2009.
