Kate Broun is the Head of Cancer Screening, Early Detection and Immunisation at Cancer Council Victoria. She has more than 25 years’ experience working in cancer screening and prevention, leading national and statewide efforts to improve health outcomes. She leads a passionate team who work to reduce inequities in cancer screening by forming partnerships with under-screened communities to design and deliver tailored community-based programs, innovative media and communication activities and engage with the primary care sector to deliver training and education. Kate is Deputy Chair of Cancer Council Australia’s Cancer Screening and Immunisation Committee.
