Dr Virisila Sema graduated from Fiji School of Medicine with MBBS in 2007. Served in the Ministry of Health Fiji as a medical officer at Ba Mission Hospital for two years. Then served at Lautoka Hospital as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registra from 2011 to 2017. Graduated with Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016. Joined the University of Fiji from 2018 to 2020 as a Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Then joined Tuvalu Ministry of Health as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from 2020. Currently assisting TUFHA with NSW Family planning Australia with cervical screening and treatment.
