Elick Narayan, MBBS, MMED is the technical officer in-charge for cancer control at the World Health Organization’s Office for the Western Pacific, Philippines. He is a medical oncologist, having over 5 years of experience in serving cancer patients. He earned his Master of Medicine in Medical Oncology at Zhengzhou University, PR China. Previous positions include Associate Professor for Internal Medicine at the Umanand Prasad School of Medicine (UPSM), University of Fiji, Dean of UPSM and consultant physician/oncologist at the Republic of Nauru Hospital. Combined with clinical experience, his professional interest extends from cancer epidemiology to health service integration especially in resource limited settings.
