Medical Related ALTERATIONS

Delegates should be aware of the advice from the Victorian Government relating to COVID-19 safety and quarantine requirements for travel. To view current regulations, please click on the link below that is relevant to you:

If you are unable to attend the Conference in person on medical grounds due to a confirmed COVID-19 infection, or from a requirement to self-isolate or quarantine either from exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case or as a condition of travel, you must alter your participation in writing by email to immediately. Your registration will be altered from an In Person to a Digital registration type and the registration fee difference will be refunded.

A full refund of the registration may be provided at the discretion of the PCC2022 Organising Committee. You may be asked to provide additional details and/or a medical certificate from a health care professional.

The above Medical Related Alterations policy will also be applicable should there be changes in your organisation’s protocols regarding event attendance.


Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to Verbal changes or cancellation will not be accepted.

If you decide to voluntarily cancel your registration, the following will apply from the date of our receipt of the written notification of cancellation:

On or before 30 September 2022:

50% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST

On or after 1 October 2022:

No refund available

Any refunded amount will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.

No refund will be made on or after 1 October 2022 however, the registration is transferable. An alternative delegate name may be provided to us in writing and the booking and funds will be transferred.

Where there are extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms may be considered at the discretion of the PCC2022 Organising Committee.

Changes to registrations, from in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person, will be permitted and will be processed on a case-by-case basis following written application to the Conference Secretariat.

Conference ALTERATION, Cancellation or Postponement

The PCC2022 Organising Committee may cancel or postpone the Conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the circumstances, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location of the Conference.

In the event the Conference is not able to proceed as planned and is moved to a fully virtual format, your registration fee will be changed from an In Person to a Digital registration type and the registration fee difference will be refunded. If you choose not to attend the virtual Conference, the PCC2022 Organising Committee will not refund any part of the Conference registration fee.

In the event of postponement of the Conference and if when requested, you advise that you are willing to attend the rescheduled Conference, the PCC2022 Organising Committee will transfer your registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements at the rescheduled event (subject to reasonable modification and availability). If, at a later date, you then choose not to attend the rescheduled Conference, the PCC2022 Organising Committee will not refund any part of the Conference registration fee.

In the event of a full cancellation of the Conference by the PCC2022 Organising Committee, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the Conference registration fee received.

The maximum liability of the PCC2022 Organising Committee under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs or any other expenses.

COVID19 Compliance

All participants at the Conference must required to comply with any advised COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols in place with the venues and the Conference, which will be aligned and compliant with all relevant Government health advice at that time.

By registering for this Conference, you are agreeing that you will be fully vaccinated (first and second doses) against COVID-19 at the time of the Conference. You will be required to show your Immunisation History Statement or Digital Certificate.

The health and safety of Conference attendees is our highest priority. The PCC2022 Organising Committee is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19 and the importance of following official government advice on social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell.

By registering for this event, the PCC2022 Organising Committee and BKA Events Pty Ltd reserves the right to provide your contact details to Authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any relevant Government requirements.


  • You will be provided with information on when and where to access entrance to the venues to avoid congestion.
  • You will be asked to ensure you have a printed copy of proof of your event registration or a digital copy on your phone or device to gain access to the venues.
  • You will be required to have downloaded the Service Victoria Ensure your COVID-19 digital certificate is connected as you will be asked to produce this on site.
  • You will be reminded if you are feeling unwell and displaying coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms (loss or change in sense of smell or taste, fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath and runny nose), or may have been in contact with someone with coronavirus (COVID-19), or have in the last 14 days been in a coronavirus (COVID-19) hot spot, that you should not attend the Conference. You should get tested and isolate at home or in your accommodation until you receive your test results. If you suspect you may have coronavirus (COVID-19) call the dedicated hotline – open 24hours a day, 7 days – 1800 675 398.

Please note and accept that the Conference venues will enforce the relevant health and safety measures as required by Government as a condition of entry to the venues.

Note that the venues reserve the right to refuse entry to any persons who are disorderly, or display unlawful or offensive behaviour. Any person who causes a disturbance may be removed from the venue.


Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Conference registration fees do not include travel insurance cover. The PCC2022 Organising Committee accepts no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
