You can contribute in a variety of ways.
Survey
The online survey has three parts. Everyone does part 1! Please also complete parts 2 and/or 3 depending on your experience and knowledge.
Part 1: takes about 5 minutes, and most questions are about you.
Part 2: Technical survey. This part is appropriate for people with some professional knowledge or experience with cervical cancer and would like to share their knowledge about what works and what could be improved in Australia’s cervical cancer control programs and services. This part takes about 15 minutes to complete.
Part 3: Lived experience survey: This part is for women and people with a cervix and families and carers who would like to share their experiences of HPV vaccination, cervical screening and/or cervical cancer and contribute their ideas to the Strategy. This part takes 10-15 minutes to complete, depending on your responses.
This is the Easy English and accessible version.

Supporting information and resources
To understand more about the consultation and survey, there are three documents available (see below):
- Consultation Paper (34 pages)
- Consultation Questions List
- Technical Paper (128 pages)
The Consultation Paper outlines the global context of cervical cancer elimination, proposes Australia’s vision for elimination, and summarises Australia’s progress across HPV vaccination, cervical screening and cervical cancer treatment. The survey questions are presented throughout the paper to provide context to the question and why we are asking them.
The Technical Paper provides in-depth data and literature about Australia’s current progress towards eliminating cervical cancer and key findings which highlight priorities that the Strategy will need to address.
